Challenge
With cloud being a relatively new concept in the market, coupled with challenges associated with privacy concerns and reliability, it was important for the Cloud Centre of Excellence initiative to ensure the entities and employees understand the importance of going cloud, especially with the newly launched local data center housing Microsoft Azure technologies.
Deliverables
With Spectrum’s inherent strength of a fleet of 50+ MCTs and 30+ FTE MCTs, and the flexibility of hybrid training models which include instructor led classrooms at the customer site or online / blended training options, we were a natural choice for delivering the Azure Cloud Centre of Excellence training program for the government entities.
Approach
This culminated in a higher degree of customer satisfaction and better consumption rate of training batches, with Spectrum now having commenced L100 – L300 training on a total of 11 tracks within the four main pillars (Apps & Infra + Modern Workplace + Dynamics + Data & AI) as part of a 1 year training plan, with over 5 rounds having been executed already. We also ensure candidates are competent enough to attempt the final certification exams, by encouraging them to attempt assessments on Spectrum’s training management portal.
Spectrum Networks is also one of the few training partners globally to follow industry standards and best practices like free pre-assessments (skill-gap analysis), post-assessments and exam preparation material, through a proprietary training management portal that enables online registrations, assessments, exam preparation, attendance and feedbacks.
